What's changed?
IDTechEx surveys of the many players involved in printed electronics finds strong optimism from suppliers, with many reporting strong traction with brands and OEMS. While ongoing technology developments consistently provide more functionality and enhancement, many suppliers of printed electronics systems have focussed over the last few years on pragmatic near term applications - often doing simpler activities including printed electrodes, antennas, human machine interface and sensing. Hybrid electronics is a focus - with organizations using the best of whatever technology is available to create the complete working solutions, and a focus on complete solutions and clear added value is the order of the day.
